(NECON) Community Outreach & Educational Workshops

We are asking for donations to help fund our grassroots community outreach and educational workshops. The funds will be used to expand our disaster education and preparedness workshops to High Desert community events, homeless, Veterans, mental health services, senor citizens and in low income communities in San Bernardino/Riverside County, and High Desert. At these workshops, we will provide free preparedness kits and educational material aimed at improving awareness and knowledge about what to do before, during and after common emergency situations like floods, earthquakes, and fires. Funding will also be used to hire canvassers who will then distribute valuable information to the public and register them in NECON's next of kin and family reunification registry www.IMsafeandwell.info. With your help, we aim to vastly increase both the quality and quantity of disaster preparedness education in your communities.
