Deck out Recovery Cafe!

At Dove House, we believe everyone deserves love and belonging. In our 36 years of providing free, confidential services in Jefferson County, we have seen how important community support is to those suffering from partner violence, mental illness, homelessness, sexual assault, addiction, grief/loss, and other forms of trauma. 

Housed at our recently purchased and renovated property at 939 Kearney St. in PT, the Recovery Café will support people seeking to break the cycles of destruction and despair associated with different forms of trauma and recovery. 

Opening the Café in the midst of Covid 19, presents us with the need to provide services either online or where people can be physically, but not socially, distant.   

Deck out Recovery Café is an online fundraiser in which we invite our community to help us build a deck and surrounding landscaping elements for appropriately-distanced outdoor gatherings. In our beautiful and welcoming outdoor space we will offer peer-led support groups, classes in our “School for Recovery,” community-building social activities, and more.
