$50,000 goal

I started the Casey Stolarski Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor my late father, who died in 1995 while I was a sophomore in high school.

Because he committed himself to ensuring that his sons would be able to pay for a higher education, I was able to attend and graduate from Marian University. Unfortunately, other college-bound students with similar circumstances aren't so lucky... And that's why I'm giving back.

My wife and fellow Marian alum, Erica, and I have pledged a lead gift of $5,000 toward the $50,000 goal.

And I'm challenging others -- friends, family, strangers -- to help endow the Casey Stolarski Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will provide a need-based scholarship to an academically qualified high school senior who lost a parent during his or her adolescent or teenage years, or during his or her time at the university.

You can read my dad's story and more about why I'm starting this scholarship online: Sailing beyond the sunset.

Thank you for considering a gift of any size to support this important endeavor!

If you wish to make a significant gift pledged over time, please contact me at crstolarski@gmail.com.
