CARES #GIVINGTUESDAY

CARES is under the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the leading senior services agency in Pasco County.  CARES services vulnerable seniors 60 and older since 1973. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, CARES' primary focus has been protecting our most vulnerable seniors. These vulnerable adults are individuals that are not able to care for themselves and require assistance to maintain their independence and remain living in their homes.  

Without the aid of services from CARES, at-risk seniors face premature or unnecessary nursing home placement. CARE ensures much needed in-home assistance with a strategic and preventive approach to ensure the well-being of the vulnerable seniors. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased a need for CARES much-needed resources and support to ultimately help frail seniors while in the comfort of their homes. Overall,  CARES mission is to promote quality of life and independence for adults through health, social, and supportive services.
