Breast Connect Giving Tuesday 2022

BREAST CONNECT is having a Giving Tuesday 2022 fundraiser. We are thrilled to announce that your gift will be DOUBLED up to $2,500 from a match donation given to us from a generous Breast Connect member donor. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Your funds will go toward educating, informing and advocating to those diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We offer resources, mastectomy kits and a sister match for those newly diagnosed.

A little about Breast Connect:

In 2014, a group of breast cancer patients and survivors located in Knoxville, Tennessee, met one evening for the purpose of companionship and support. That group grew as dozens of women found comfort and support in sharing their stories with those who “had been down that road.”

It was during these Happy Hours that the idea of Breast Connect was born. What started as a Facebook group page that connected newly diagnosed women with other women who had a similar diagnosis and already been through their cancer journey, blossomed into breastconnect.org; a non-profit organization that provides a comprehensive one-stop-shop education where women can find resources and answers to help give them direction, confidence and support during this critical decision-making process and beyond. An important resource on BreastConnect.org is our Sisterhood Program. This program matches a newly diagnosed patient with another survivor, based on diagnosis, surgeries and treatments. Many of our members experienced the assistance of talking with a survivor when first diagnosed with breast cancer and found that experience to be empowering, educational and reassuring. We want to ensure that anyone affected by breast cancer has access to someone who has already experienced a similar situation.

The mission of Breast Connect is to empower those diagnosed with breast cancer to become their own best advocates in their breast cancer journey by connecting them with relevant information, resources, and friendships. 

We are a 501c3, Guidestar Platinum Seal organization.
