Hi everyone, and welcome to my fundraising page!

This summer, I get the amazing opportunity to go back to Turkana, Kenya, for the third time with Bread of Life Mission! This time, I will be interning in a clinic they have by the mission base, using the skills I have learned in nursing school to impact the Turkanan people both physically and spiritually. This is a special opportunity because I get to return to the people I love so much and use a passion of mine to serve their community. While I am there, I will not only spend time in the clinic, but I will also be working alongside Bread of Life in whatever capacity they may need. I am excited to be doing this internship with Bread of Life specifically because I wholeheartedly support the way in which they invest in each community they reach with the Gospel. They care deeply for the people in each village, providing education opportunities for children, a source of income and community for widows, and raising up young leaders in the faith to minister to their own people and beyond. Bread of Life truly gives a hand up and not a handout, leading the people they reach into new or deeper faith and bringing together beautiful communities of believers throughout Turkana. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful mission, and I have hardly touched on all the incredible work they do. This trip is coming up soon, and while I would greatly appreciate financial donations, the biggest request I have is for prayer. I believe fully in the power of prayer, and it would mean the world to me if you would consider praying over this trip. Prayer for the hearts of the Kenyans, that they might be ready to receive the Good News, prayers for the mission and the missionaries of Bread of Life that they would be strengthened and encouraged in living out the Great Commission, prayers that my eyes and ears would be open to the Lord’s direction throughout the trip, and prayers for safe travels would be amazing.
