Learning, Loving, and Leading in Nicholtown

Help Bob Jones University raise $25,000 by October 16th and partner with BJU students as they are Learning, Loving, and Leading in Nicholtown!

Bob Jones University was founded in 1927 and is located in Greenville, SC. At BJU, over 3000 students are trained to learn, love, and lead in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities. Our students are committed to a life of service and want to demonstrate Jesus Christ's principle tenet to love their neighbors in the Nicholtown community like they love themselves.

BJU students, through the Center for Global Opportunities,  seek to partner with other local organizations and serve the Nicholtown community by providing academic enrichment, mentoring, family literacy, and community rehabilitation. They will do this by providing tutoring at the Phillis Wheatley recreation center, and mentoring for the Dreamchaser's Basketball Club.  The goal is to help improve students grade levels and academic commitment.  Students will also provide minor home repairs for elderly and disabled Nicholtown residents.  

Additionally, BJU's School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) will partner with Nicholtown residents looking to grow their skills and develop the tools needed for business and job success by providing Work Force Development training.
