Billie Barnes and Mike Maughmer

Billie Barnes was born and raised in our fine city of Chillicothe. She is a mother to Landin Sanyang and wife to Craig. Billie spent more than half of her life in healthcare, caring for those who are at times digging for their lives. She always has a "you can do it!" attitude, regardless of the situation. Billie is a proud businesswoman and owner/creator of Billie's African Sheabutter. Her products can be found in several local stores and in Florida. Last year Billie stepped out in faith and began working as a teacher's aide in the Chillicothe School System. In her spare time, you can find her supporting her son and others at sporting events and attending the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ, which is pastored by her dance partner, Mike. If you are blessed enough to know Billie, you will never feel the same again. She will make you laugh until your stomach hurts, comfort you in times of need, and celebrate with you at every milestone. She is truly loved by everyone who comes in contact with her!

Mike Maughmer is a 1990 graduate of Chillicothe High School and was an all around athlete playing football, basketball and running track. His basketball career took him to Ohio University-Chillicothe for a year in 1991, after which he joined the State Highway Patrol. He was promoted through ranks and eventually became Sargent of Investigation and just retired this past August. Mike grew up in the church, playing instruments for worship while his father was the pastor. As a young adult he was promoted to youth minister in the church and spent lots of time coaching youth and high school sports in the Chillicothe Schools. Mike took over as pastor of the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ in 2020. Mike and his wife, Tara, have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of two sons, Branden (22) and Jayvon (20), both collegiate athletes. In his free time, Mike enjoys working out, studying the Bible, and motivating people to become who God wants them to be.
