One cold December morning, we arrived at the building to find a tiny kitten sitting on the concrete in front of our door. She had no shelter, no blankets, no food, and no water—just a fragile little body braving the chill. Despite her situation, she greeted us with warmth, showing an incredibly friendly and trusting nature. Later, we discovered a voicemail from the person who left her, suggesting she had been outside for over 12 hours in the freezing cold.

We noticed right away that she couldn’t use one of her legs. After bringing her inside, warming her up, and giving her some food, we took her to the vet. That’s when we learned the full story: Stumpy has a hip abnormality that is currently causing her pain. Without surgery, she will remain in pain and face a high risk of recurring infections throughout her life.

Thankfully, there’s a solution—a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery, which will correct her leg and allow her to live a pain-free life. We’re raising funds now to cover the cost of Stumpy’s surgery while she grows big enough to have it. With your support, we can give her a chance at a healthy, happy future. Every donation makes a difference in helping Stumpy take her new step!
