Dear Family and Friends,

I am participating in this year's Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

The Beautillion is used as a vehicle to raise funds for scholarships, as well as build character, enhance positive moral and social  growth, and leadership skills of young men moving into young adulthood. To be involved in this program is a prestigious  affair, and I feel honored to have been recommended, and selected to participate.

I am a senior at Mallard Creek High School located in Charlotte, NC.  I was a member of the cross country and wrestling teams. I have also been on the A-B and A Honor Roll.  Additionally, I have been an active participant of the Queen City Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for 10 years.

I am an entrepreneur and have owned my DJ business for the past 2 years. In addition to serving as the Official DJ for my school's athletic program, I serve clients hosting weddings, birthday parties, fashion shows, fundraisers, etc. What I enjoy most about being an entrepreneur are the opportunities to offer my services free of charge to select non-profit and social/civic organizations.

During college I plan to continue my entrepreneurial endeavors while pursuing a degree in business administration. With your help I will be able to earn a scholarship that will assist me in financing my education.
