Furnishings for Bay Street Apartments

Bay Street Apartments in Laconia, NH will offer 12 efficiency units of supportive housing for people of very low income who are experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. The building is currently under construction at 17 Bay Street, scheduled to be completed in Spring 2025. 

The project is a collaboration between Lakes Region Community Developers (LRCD) and Lakes Region Mental Health Center (LRMHC). LRCD is a non-profit developer that has built affordable housing in the Lakes Region for 30+ years. LRMHC has provided community mental health services for 60+ years. Together, we will provide supportive housing to help people build skills required for the goal of independent living in affordable housing. 

To set up the tenants for success, we need to provide durable furnishings for each of the 12 efficiency apartments.

Our goal is to raise the $45,000 required to fully furnish the building. We need help to change lives. You have the power to do that by supporting this project.
