Support Jenn Guitart's Dream Ride Challenge!

Help me raise $5,000 for a healthy, safe, sustainable California. 

This year, the Dream Ride isn't an in-person event, but I'll be attempting to ride 300 miles right here where I live, around Berkeley (or, if the smoke doesn't clear, I'll be doing activist stuff online to earn 300 "miles"). 

I love riding a bicycle, and I hope you do too, but that's not why CalBike's work is so important. Our work does make the world a better place to ride a bike (or a unicycle or a trike if you like!), as we push for better state bicycling laws and policies, and more state funding for bike infrastructure, for example. 

But we are talking about and pushing for huge changes in our transportation system. We're working to make our transportation system more sustainable—more friendly to people walking and taking transit as well as those on bikes—so that we can cut carbon emissions. We're pushing for sensible transportation policy to build healthy, thriving communities. We're collaborating with partners who work on equity, housing, and other issues to make sure that the strategies California is using to meet our climate goals center justice and equity for disadvantaged Californians.
