I am very excited to be a champion for Everglades Law Center for this Give Miami Day! Everglades Law Center is a nonprofit law firm with deep roots in South Florida that is dedicated to protecting South Florida's ecosystems and communities. 

Everglades Law Center develops and supports the critical legal groundwork for restoration, preservation, pollution prevention, species protection, and climate resilience. Everglades Law Center works throughout the entire historic Everglades ecosystem – from Lake Okeechobee to Key West. 

Everglades Law Center's work has tangible conservation impacts. From Biscayne Bay to Lake Worth Lagoon and beyond, Everglades Law Center works to ensure clean and healthy ecosystems by working with non-profit organizations, the local, state, and federal governments, and scientists for effective restoration and protection. Together with their clients, they have prevented unsustainable development in critical, environmentally sensitive areas. They have worked to expedite and maximize Everglades restoration. They have successfully advocated for stronger stormwater policies and ordinances to increase the protection of Florida's communities and iconic waters like Biscayne Bay.
