Amy Barnes is Fundraising for Day Spring!

If you know me, you know Day Spring. The people we serve are among the most authentic, kind, and caring individuals I have ever met. I am grateful that my professional life is so deeply intertwined with their home lives. Working at Day Spring isn't just a job; it's a commitment to spreading goodness and enhancing the lives of our residents.

I know that by showing up for them every single day, I am making a difference. Through my work, I have been able to change lives. I have seen individuals move into loving homes and caring communities from very bad situations. I have seen individuals spread their wings and fly as they achieve new levels of independence that many never thought possible.

What is harder for you to see is the impact they have on my life. My children are active volunteers and frequent visitors at Day Spring and have learned to value all people regardless of ability. There are people who live at Day Spring who are now part of our family, celebrating holidays and birthdays with us. And, most of all, they provide me with my WHY. I work hard for them and push myself to be better because they DESERVE IT!
