Food, beer & soft drinks are available for purchase at the event.

So many of us have wanted to compassionately reach out to aid the Ukrainian people as they are being brutalized but haven't quite known what to do.  With 100% of proceeds going immediately to Direct Relief - one of the top charities worldwide, you can rest assured your donations will make a difference. As of April 9th, they have already provided over 250 tons of medical aid since the start of the conflict.

At the concert, the music community will offer a glimpse of hope, healing and comfort in the way that only music can. Although one can immediately donate on this site, please join us livestream or live (in person) on the 23rd.

John Ludwig

Grammy-considered and voting Grammy member, longtime President of the Chicago Songwriters Collective, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Executive Director of There Streets Are Holy.

Molly Rose

Molly Rose is a Chicago-area jazz vocalist, guitarist & songwriter who performs regularly with her own self-titled jazz group, in swing bands, as a solo artist and with other local musicians. Her passion for collaboration and coupling music with story has opened doors to work with artists in other media including theatre, film, painting, installation, and performance art. Her music blurs genres, venturing into swing, modern jazz, Americana folk, religious & indie rock. She released her first album, “Hidden Talents” in 2016 and followed up with “What You Need To Find” in 2019. Current projects include a collection of original jazz compositions and a series of musical reflections on the Psalms.

Buzz Hunter

Buzz has been writing songs since his youth, which he acknowledges is quite some time ago. With a voice sounding like a (slightly fallen) angel which he says came from his mother, be prepared to go on some musical journeys you didn't see coming.

Mani Rao

Having performed from Australia to India to the US, you too can experience a touch of her Indian homeland with Mani - an interpreter of traditional and writer of original music. She has also supported community projects with her music and is looking forward to raising her voice for Ukraine.

Charles Torpe

With a background in reaching out to assist others via organizations like NAMI, Charles' virtuosic joyful guitar will lift you up.

Christian Johnson

Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christian, by high school music became a passion. Soon after, it quickly became an art as he started writing music and has started several musical projects including the presently active Sideline Charlie. Christian currently serves as the Director of Worship & Productions at Palos Community Church and is currently writing new music for Sideline Charlie.

House of Music staff will be joining in too!

Our beneficiary partner is Direct Relief - the fifth largest charity in the United States in 2021, according to Forbes Magazine annual list of the 100 largest U.S. charities ranked by private donations.

Among the 10 largest charities in the Forbes 2021 ranking, Direct Relief is the only one to receive a score of 100% for both charitable commitment (how much of a charity’s total expense go directly to the charitable purpose) and 100% on fundraising efficiency (the percent of private donations remaining after deducting fundraising costs).

Direct Relief is one of the world’s largest channels for humanitarian medical assistance to underserved communities and victims of disasters.

Direct Relief is working directly with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health and other on-the-ground partners to provide urgently needed medical aid, including emergency response packs intended for first responders, insulin syringes, oxygen concentrators, critical care medicines, and personal care items for displaced people and other essential medicines.

Direct Relief has firmly established relationships both with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health and other organizations responding in the region. Medical aid is both for people still in Ukraine and for those who have fled the conflict to neighboring countries.

Direct Relief has also supplied the Ministry of Health with hundreds of emergency medical backpacks for first responders working in the field and dealing with injuries and trauma, infections, and other acute medical needs.
