Sammy asks for your help to finish Big Wave

Sammy graduated from Half Moon Bay High School last year, and now attends a Day Program while he is waiting for Big Wave to be built and finished.  He can’t wait to move to his new apartment at Big Wave because he’s extremely social, wants to be around his friends, and longs for a sense of independence.  He has lots of plans for singing karaoke and holding dance parties, as he loves music and people.  Sammy needs community around him to thrive and be happy, but like many adults with special needs, he requires our help to create this structure for him.  We are working hard to finish fundraising for the four low income units that will help needs-based families participate in the gift of housing. This parent-driven project wouldn’t be possible without the support of our friends and family and the greater community.  We appreciate all of your donations so much – thank you!  Big Wave is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization, with the mission of providing lifelong housing, access to opportunities and a sense of community for Bay Area adults with special needs.
