UCHS Summer Trip to DC/NYC

This summer, in July 2024, 27 students will head out on an educational field trip to Washington, DC, and New York City. This history-focused field trip will have students visit multiple historical sites, memorials, and museums. For example, excursions will be taken to  Lafayette Square and the Black Lives Matter Plaza, MLK/Lincoln Memorial, the White House, a variety of Smithsonian Museums like the National Museum for African Art, Ellis Island, and even the Statue of Liberty. 

This is an amazing opportunity for students to see history and its impacts in real life as they travel, rather than being stuck in a classroom. Donations of any size will help tremendously and take some of the burden off of students and families.
