Pair black youth with black professional to mentor and teach professionalism and entrepreneur skills

$90

raised by 4 people

$7,050 goal

The most recent census reports that the black community makes up less than 5% of the northwest Arkansas population. Despite the miniscule percentage of black individuals in the area, black professionals are present and successful. With this, 4TC Philanthropy believes that it is imperative that black youth in the community have the opportunity to not only see the success of professionals that look like them but also, we want to grant opportunities to youth to work alongside these accomplished individuals. Representation absolutely matters.

While teaching professionalism and entrepreneurship skills, the 4TC Philanthropy Intern Placement Program will give black youth the opportunity to intern with black professionals in the field that the young person is interested in pursuing. SHARE
