Drennen’s Dreams Foundation is a National Drowning Prevention and Water Safety 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Colorado had the most drowning deaths recorded in history this year -- 36. Nearly ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTABLE if they had worn a life jacket. Drennen’s Dreams is building life jacket loaner stations and educating people on drowning prevention. Your contribution Will Help Us Save Lives!
The work of the Drennen’s Dreams Foundation evolved because of the tragic and unnecessary death of Bill and Melissa O'Melia's 12-year-old son, Drennen. It was the O’Melia’s desire to make a difference in the lives of others, which led them to share Drennen’s story. In time, this led them to educate aquatic organizations, managers, and lifeguards about the importance of high safety standards and practicing proper water safety procedures to prevent drowning.
Our mission at Drennen’s Dreams Foundation is to honor Drennen’s legacy by emphasizing, and teaching, the importance of high safety standards for pool management, aquatics facilities and lifeguards; and to provide water safety information, tools, and educational services to the public to prevent drowning.
Thank you in advance for supporting our mission to prevent drowning.
