Support Incarcerated Women during the Pandemic

Life in the time of COVID-19 is difficult for everyone, but imagine what it is like for women in prison or who are being released with no supplies.  This Mother's Day, the Women's Justice Institute plans to support incarcerated moms and other women by sending them email credits to write to their friends and families and creating care packages for women leaving prison. We plan to give each women a backpack with deodorant, full size toothbrush, tampons, shampoo, hand sanitizer, face masks, soap,  razors, notebooks, and writing utensils. We will use any additional funds to support our work with incarcerated women during this time.
