H.O.P.E., Inc. is dedicated to empowering, encouraging, and equipping low-income single parents to achieve a college degree, develop essential life skills, and ultimately attain self-sufficiency.

As a single mother at the age of 21, I faced significant financial hardships. I worked three jobs just to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck. I earned too much to qualify for government assistance but too little to afford groceries or consistently pay rent on time. I experienced setbacks like having my car repossessed multiple times.

Despite these challenges, I earned my bachelor's degree in 2013 and went on to earn an MBA in 2015—all while working multiple jobs and raising my daughter with minimal family support.

The mission of H.O.P.E., Inc. resonates deeply with me because I understand the struggles of raising a child as a single parent pursuing higher education. I know firsthand how vital support can be in helping parents break the cycle of financial instability, gain critical knowledge, and graduate with greater opportunities.

H.O.P.E., Inc. is more than a program—it’s a lifeline. It provides single parents with tools to build a brighter future for their families, whether through debt reduction, emergency savings, or simply the relief of knowing they’re not alone.
