In Memory of Dave O'Neill

Dave O'Neill was a Founding Member of Club of Harps, who finally lost his battle with cancer on February 12, 2024. 

We knew him as the "Chugger" because he went out of his way to learn the relevant chords in whatever key we played. But he further distinguished himself by developing great chordal rhythms to serve as the "groove" for many of our musical selections. 

Dave all but abandoned his guitar once he found the harmonica. He had a particular interest in promoting harmonica education and skills development, and was keenly interested in bringing this musical experience to youth. Sadly, his pursuit is still unrealized. 

By supporting Club of Harps through this fundraising page, perhaps the club will eventually be able to begin a youth program in his memory.
