Jan & Chippers Giving Day for TBBR

 I am raising money for Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue for Give Day Tampa Bay 2018.  For 24 hours, you can make a tax deductible donation to Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue, which has the potential to be multiplied!

Every unique donation made between 9:00 am and 10:00 am will receive a $5 matching donation courtesy of one of our generous supporters.  Other monetary prizes are also available.

I fostered ChipIV.  He was a senior with quirks.   I could live with the quirks and adopted him 6 months later, renaming him Chippers.  With a bit of work and trust, he has become a great companion.

We fostered Maili - a heartworm positive girl. TBBR treated her heartworm and she recovered here.  She was adopted soon after.  

We fostered Pattycakes - an extremely obese female. TBBR spayed her and she had a dental.  After about 2 months, she had lost almost 10 pounds and was adopted into a wonderful home with a beagle sister.

In each case, even with Chippers, TBBR has the dogs vetted, fixed / spayed if needed (many do), and medical issues treated.   Dogs are provided monthly preventions,  for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.  Vets and medication aren't cheap! 

TBBR is run and managed by volunteers - there is no paid CEO.  TBBR depends on donations to help senior beagles (like Chippers), neglected beagles, dogs with medical issues, and unwanted beagles to have a second chance.  The fosters work on socialization and behavior issues.  When the dog is ready, volunteers match the dog to the right family, based on what the fosters have learned about the dog and his / her personality.  In 2017, Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue rescued over 200 dogs!
