Help Ethan get onto the 4 Paws for Ability Service Dog Calendar!

Ethan has Autism and qualifies for an Autism Service Dog through 4 Paws for Ability!! First, we need to raise some money. That's where you come in, we need your help!! We need to raise $17,000.00 to get onto the calendar for placement of our Autism Service Dog. Did you know it costs 4 Paws for Ability $40,000.00-$60,000.00 or more to train a service dog to be ready for placement? 4 Paws for Ability was started in 1998 by Karen Shirk through her own struggles to find a service dog and now she helps families like ours!!

About Ethan

Maybe your child and Ethan have something in common. Ethan loves LEGOs especially superheroes and  The LEGO Movie. Ethan's favorite toy is his Woody from Toy Story. Woody has been a part of our family for 6 years and even though Woody is looking a little tattered, he has never left Ethan's side. Ethan is learning to play the guitar and to swim. He loves the pool. His favorite foods are mac n' cheese and pizza.

How an Autism Service Dog will Help Ethan

An Autism Service Dog will help Ethan personally. His dog will be trained in behavior disruption and pressure to calm, comfort, and redirect Ethan when needed. His service dog will train in tracking. In the event, Ethan wanders his service dog can find him. And so much more as the emotional connection between a boy and his dog lasts a lifetime as they become the best of friends!!
