In Loving Memory of Melissa

On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Melissa Gianfrancesco, loving mother, cherished sister, and steadfast friend, passed away due to brain injury and  prolonged subsequent illness.

Melissa is survived by her three children, Gianna, Dominic, and Anthony Rush, who were the absolute loves of her life. 

Melissa believed strongly in the concept of family and chosen family. If she loved you, she made sure that you knew it. The lucky people whose lives were enriched by her existence will miss her profoundly, remember her fondly, and will be forever blessed by the memory of her unmistakable presence. 

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Laureen and Vito, and her beloved brother, Eric. May we find peace in knowing that they are together once again.

Melissa requested not to have a formal memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to this fund her chosen sisters have created to support her children through this difficult transition.
