Ruffin' It: Lindsay's 24 Hours in a Kennel

On April 6th and 7th, I'm going to do something I've never done before in my over 15 years in animal rescue, and I need your help to do it! I'm going to spend 24 hours in a kennel at the shelter with a shelter dog. Yep. Sounds a little crazy to me, too, but I want to help raise money for this amazing shelter that I love so much!

Here's where you come in. You can help me be more comfortable over these 24 hours by donating. For every donation level reached, I'll be able to take another item of comfort* into the shelter with me.

As most of you know, I have spent many years in animal rescue, mostly in the Houston area. (The cutie in the photo above is Hopper, one of my many fosters!) I'm so happy to have found a great animal group in Lake Jackson to dedicate my time to- the Brazoria County SPCA, a no-kill shelter. I'm also proud to serve on their Board of Directors.
