At Yemaya’s Village Inc., we believe every mother deserves support and care during one of the most transformative moments of her life. We are a dedicated nonprofit providing no-cost doula services to pregnant and newly birthed mothers in Louisiana, focusing on BIPOC women and girls aged 13-25 in underserved areas

Our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that every mother receives the emotional, mental and physical support she needs, regardless of her financial situation. But we can’t do this alone. We’re currently raising $15,000 to sustain and expand our vital services, which include personalized birthing support, postpartum care, lactation support, educational resources and our commuinity Doula training.
