Across NWA, many families face the daily challenges of sub-standard housing—overcrowding, unsafe living conditions, and structural issues that hinder their health and stability. Through Habitat, these families find a path to a brighter future. 

How Habitat Changes Lives Habitat homeowners don’t just receive a home, they partner with us to make their dreams a reality. Families contribute "sweat equity" by helping build their homes, complete homeowner education courses, and pay an affordable mortgage. This unique approach empowers families to build better lives and, in turn, helps build strong, stable communities.
