Update #2

Update posted 1 year ago

Thank you all so much for your support for Cilla and her healing journey. It means so very much to her. To those of you who have emailed, thank you for your heartfelt words. She sees all the messages, though can't always respond. Thank you for continuing to keep Cilla in your prayers--she feels all the supportive energy!

We've recorded a podcast yesterday to update you all on Cilla's current progress. We plan to be back soon with another update.

Here's Cilla recovering at home, pictured with her husband, Neal.

In recent months, Cilla's health journey has taken many detours. As she describes it, "It's been a long, dark tunnel, but I see the light at the end now."

After a stay at the Spiro clinic in Arkansas, Cilla's pain and insomnia became increasingly worse. She was then sent to a quantum neurologist in Nebraska where she received treatment and learned she had a large mass encasing her Brachial plexus. At this point, she and her husband, Neal, continued to pray for direction.

She was eventually referred to the current clinic that she is currently receiving care from in Tijuana. After trying various holistic modalities over the last 5 years, Cilla has landed in a more conventional program that gives very low-dose chemo and radiation. She will be returning to the clinic every couple months for more treatment and already has astronomical medical bills that insurance is not helping with. Please listen to her tell her full story here

As much as Cilla would love to be taking clients, she hasn't been able to do this in many months. Without a steady income, she has become overwhelmed with medical debt. She is distraught by the thought of having to ask for assistance, yet there is no way for her to continue with her care and treatment without support.

Cilla is someone who has been there for so many. As difficult as her story has become, she is still smiling and doing her best to heal. These days, she's doing a lot of sleeping. If you have the ability to support Cilla in anyway, she and her many friends and companions would be forever grateful.

Thank you.
