Julia is Running for Dylan in the NY Marathon

I am part of a team running the 2023 New York City Marathon and raising money for Dylan's Wings of Change, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first grade victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

The foundation created Wingman, an experiential learning based program that fosters empathy and connection among participants. Schools enrolled in Wingman cover a portion of the program costs to ensure their commitment and engagement.

I have family friends from Newtown who were deeply effected by this tragedy. 

I am an Elementary School Teacher in MA and I am excited to be raising money for this great charity!
