Good morning ,
My name is Anquniece Wheeler . I would like for everyone to donate toward my greatest accomplishment , which is to swim in the World Deaf Swim Championship in Brazil on August 25th - 31st of 2019. I have been working very hard to be selected for this swim meet since I was 9 years old, and it’s took 9 years to do so. I have been swimming since 8 years old, I had so many other accomplishments before this one , such as winning the PSL award my freshman year of high school , and also was the first girl from a Detroit public school to make states in about 20 years that dream wasn’t fully accomplished because before the state championships I was hit by an car but that did not stop me. I kept it pushing and was able to swim in the city championships but not the state championships because my leg was still broken. I believe that swimming and winning city championships with an broken leg was the greatest way that showed my dedication toward swimming. Fast forwarding to my first year of college, I did great even though I was only put in one event and only swimming that one event I broke the record 7 times throughout the whole season. And now I have a great opportunity to swim in Brazil in the World Deaf Swim championship.
I really hope that gave you a image of the type of hard working dedicated person that I am and I hope that my story encourages you to help me raise money to swim in the World Deaf Swim Championship in August.
I will be representing the United State, City if Detroit, Detroit Recreational swim team.
I really hope I can get all the support I can to compete in this huge meet.
Thank you,
