2020 Vision | Dare Humanity

For Giving Tuesday, Dare Humanity was able to raise 32% of our goal, but we still need your support. 

"2020 Vision" is in full effect for the final month of the year, as we set to accomplish the following goals:

• Expand the Young Dreams Sponsorship Program to support at least 20 more students! 
• Continue our efforts to provide clean drinking water in Haiti by installing at least one well. 
• Create new programs to better serve underserved communities. 

In 2020, Dare Humanity's goal is to sponsor an additional 20 students for the Young Dreams Sponsorship Program. This year, we were able to sponsor 7 students to attend school by paying for their tuition, books and uniforms. In 2020, we believe we can sponsor even more. 

We have selected the first 5 students we will be supporting for 2020: 

1. Nilsen - 3 years old - Kindergarten

2. Mykensly - 9 years old - 3rd grade 

3. Fabiana - 13 years old - 8th grade 

4. Markenley - 10 years old - 4th grade

5. Lovencia - 16 years old - 9th grade 

In addition, we will be creating a fund to build wells in Haiti. Access to clean water in Haiti remains a concern. Community members are exposed to waterborne illnesses such as cholera, typhoid and chronic diarrhea. You can help our communities live healthier and prosperous lives with clean drinking water today. 

Finally, Dare Humanity will be working on creating new programs to better serve our communities. This year, we were able to pivot our efforts after the political turmoil in Haiti to hire two teachers to continue the education of our youth while schools are closed. We were also able to raise funds to provide food for families in need. 

We are always thinking about what more we can do for our communities. Your support can help us provide more resources and create opportunities for self-sufficiency for the communities we serve.
