Did you know that a cat can go into heat as young as four months, and can produce 3 litters a year? That’s a potential of 10-30 kittens born every year to a SINGLE CAT. The Little Lion Foundation was founded in 2016 to help the countless kittens born on the streets of Long Beach. Through programs like the kitten nursery, foster to adopt, and Trap/Neuter/Release, thousands of cats and kittens have been helped. Now we have launched our most ambitious program to date - we are going to step in and stop the flow of unwanted kittens by opening a spay and neuter clinic dedicated to fixing the street cats of Long Beach.
