Intergenerational Affordable Housing Complex

NYEP's new project is Intergenerational Affordable Housing, and we're so excited!  This is innovative and needed in a time of resource scarcity for our most vulnerable.

This 20 unit housing complex will target graduates of the Community Living Program, as well as local seniors who are in need of extremely low income units. The young women and the seniors would share the site, with young graduates assisting seniors with maintenance, shopping, and other tasks and in turn seniors providing mentorship.
Jacobs Family Foundation has given NYEP a challenge grant of $350,000, as a dollar-for-dollar match to support this next phase of NYEP.
