While we're really still TRUE Yankees, to help this amazing cause, we've agreed to play for the Cubs so that there can be more teams to play (I wonder how that works in the MLB?) so Andrew Taylor is off this hook this year because we have an AMAZING team and would crush those Bob's Sox (consider this a lucky year Andrew ;-) )
We've exceeded our 1st goal and would love to reach our current goal of $2,000 for the Rivalry Softball challenge which is coming up THIS Saturday! Looks like it will be a beautiful day in Charlotte for a truly wonderful foundation. Anything you can give would be very much appreciated to reach our stretch goal. Thank you!
We LOVE America's favorite pastime and we LOVE Joe Martin ALS Foundation (JMALSF). What a better way to mix the 2. Our brother, Steven, was diagnosed with ALS in February 2016 and succombed to the disease not long after at the beginning of August, 2016. JMALSF was a great resource for Steven, his family and our entire family during that very difficult time. Everything that JMALSF stands for in itself is worth raising money for but when you combine America's favorite pastime with JMALSF, that is a no brainer. Cathy, Brian, Carter, Landon and I will all be playing in Steven's honor and need your help to reach our goal of $1,250! Please help us in raising money so that JMALSF can continue to help others keep living life with ALS and help support their families. We ALL Thank you!!
