NTA funds transportation for families to visit their incarcerated loved ones.

Dear Friends,

You may remember that last year we (Noam and Aaron) participated in a 170 mile weekend bike ride to raise money to provide free transportation for families visiting their loved ones incarcerated across Louisiana. We're very pleased to have both been invited to return for the ride this coming October. The fundraiser is sponsored by NOLA to Angola, a very inspiring all-local volunteer initiative, and supports the Cornerstone Bus Project, the organization that coordinates all of the prison transportation.  Louisiana is the most incarcerated state in the country and without the help of this ride many families would never be able to visit their loved ones.

We’ve been told that we’ve inspired a few other parent-child duos, but as the original pair we’ve decided to join our fundraising efforts together. The ride is only a few weeks away and we're hoping that you find this cause worth supporting in its own right and that you might also experience some affiliated naches in supporting our budding father-son tradition.

So, we're writing you now to ask if you would be willing to make a donation for our fundraising effort. All funds raised go soley to  free prison transportation support for families and friends. If you are so inclined please make a donation via this page.

With thanks and best wishes for a Shana tova,

Noam and Aaron
