I’ve been blessed to experience IMA for about the past 15 years. The dream of sending my niece there when she was 18 did not materialize… But it’s been a haven for me to connect with other drummers and people who love music!
They have an amazing mission and an incredible vibe. Please join me in supporting them. I did not do a birthday fundraiser this year, but it’s still my birthday month, so consider it your present to me! Where else you do you get to sit around the table with a member of Sweet Honey In the Rock, a woman who David Bowie called one of the best guitarists, your very first drum teacher and then bump in to a friend you did civil disobedience with 30 years before . Like I said, truly amazing place!
