Please help support our 2nd mission trip!

Alyce and I felt so honored to help the Nicaraguan refugees in Costa Rica last year that we have decided to go back in July 2025!  These people have fled their country for their own safety and now live in squalor in Costa Rica.  They take a bus 5 hours to get to the Corner of Love clinic, wait the entire day for everyone to be seen by the medical team,  then ride 5 hours back to their refugee camps.  While they are at the clinic, they are offered medical care and fed a meal.  They are also given clothing, toiletries, medications and food to take home with them.  These refugees have next to nothing yet they are the kindest and most appreciative people I have ever met.

The money that we are raising goes to cover our room and board while we are there as well as paying for the buses to transport refugees; covering the cost of the Costa Rican doctor, dentist and pharmacist; paying the staff at the clinic; and purchasing medications that are needed and not donated.

In addition to financial contributions, we are also collecting supplies to bring on the trip with us.  These include clothing and shoes (in good shape), OTC medications (preferably the largest sizes as they will be split into individual doses), toiletries (travel size), orthopedic devices (like old wrist and knee braces), towels, jewelry and makeup and more.  You can email me to arrange pickup of any items you would like to donate (drhconnolly@gmail.com).
