As stated, the Family Life Center promotes Education, Exposure to new opportunities, and Empowerment. For example, the summer youth program was a huge success because of the Director and volunteers working with the kids. The afterschool program allows the kids to be in a safe place, nurtured, get school work done, and to interact with others. Being a former student of Mr. Moorman at Shelby County High, and years later serving with him on the trustee board of Clay Street Baptist I know that he would be pleased. The Life Center offers so much more and targeting new ideas and programs are on the horizon , so please be generous with your donation.
