Communication effectiveness
Resolutions to specific problems
Creating healthy boundaries
Greater personal awareness and insight

Testimonials

(CLIENT TESTIMONIAL)
Our journey with Cindy and Two Hearts Horsemanship began in January 2016.
At that time my10 year old daughter Alexis, had been dealing with several anxiety and stress issues and had recently been diagnosed with ADHD and began medication to assist with her inattentiveness.
In the car on our way to our first appointment with Cindy, Alexis expressed thoughts and feelings of SUICIDE!! I could barely compose myself and was in a panic to get to Two Hearts.
As soon as I walked in the door Cindy she could tell something was wrong. She gently guided me into a private room where I broke down and explained what had just occurred with my daughter. She comforted and encouraged me and by the end of that first session I knew we had made the right decision to come to Two Hearts Horsemanship.
On top of everything that Alexis has been dealing with associated with her ADHD, her father is in the US Navy and stationed away from us in San Diego, CA. With my husband living so far away, it has caused additional anxiety and stress on us all.
Along with Alexis we also have 2 sons, Jordan and Zackery and Cindy has been very supportive of our entire family. My husband has been able to visit Two Hearts on a number of different occasions while on leave and Cindy has been able to help us all better understand and cope with the issues around PTSD. Additionally, Cindy is always there for me when I am having challenges dealing with the daily stresses of playing the single parent role or if my husband has a flare up with his PTSD. We are all very thankful for Cindy, the Two Hearts Horsemanship program and all of the volunteers.
I am grateful to report that over the past six months, Alexis has experienced major changes in her behavior, attitude towards life, school, family, and most importantly in her own self-esteem. Cindy and her horses have helped her to reach emotional milestones in ways that no one else has been able to do.
For Alexis, her time at Two Hearts has become the highlight of her week.

I have been participating in the Two Hearts Horsemanship program since November of 2015 and have suffered from childhood trauma, domestic abuse, PTSD, and anxiety and have sought professional counseling on and off for the past ten years.
I currently live in Mesa but a few years ago I had an opportunity to participate in an intensive, five day equine-assisted therapy program in Tucson, Arizona and knew that I needed that type of therapy again. I didn't want the traditional kind of therapy that requires you to sit in someone's office on a hot and sticky couch, looking at dead plants, and rehashing the same old thing.
From the moment I drive down the road to the Two Hearts Homestead I felt a sense of peace and serenity...
