Stray Paws Rescue

We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue organization. Whether dogs are living on the streets in St. Louis, dumped and abandoned by their family, owner surrendered or in danger of abuse or neglect, we are there for them. We have an amazing group of volunteers who devote their time and love to saving and placing rescue dogs with fosters and with permanent families. We have dedicated foster parents who open up their homes to provide our rescue dogs a safe, loving, and caring environment while we find them perfect forever homes. Their loving and supportive environment plays a huge role in helping each dog recover from the anguish of their past life and once again know how to experience love and trust.

We Need Your Help To Save As Many Dogs As Possible!
We provide all the supplies the fosters need to properly care for and teach our rescue dogs. We ensure all of the dogs have proper vet care and receive all necessary shots, de-worming, spay and neuter services, heartworm tests, microchips and any necessary medical care they need before being adopted. Many of our dogs have lived on the streets for so long, or were abused and abandoned that they are in need of more serious medical treatments which costs several thousands of dollars.

We are a small rescue but our reach is big!
Since our founding we have rescued over 3,300 animals! To rescue as many dogs as possible, we need your support. We are funded solely by donations and adoption fees and need contributions to continue our crusade to help as many homeless, abandoned animals as possible. Together, we can can make a big impact!
