St. Clair County Historical Society

In 2017, the St. Clair County Historical Society:

· Completed major renovation work at the Victorian Home Museum in celebration of its 150th birthday

· Welcomed over 400 fourth grade students at the Victorian Home Museum and Emma Kunz House.

Presented two original exhibits to the public.

· Connected with nearly 2,000 people daily on Facebook

· Welcomed over 100 new visitors to our First Saturdays at the Museum.

· Reached a new audience for our mission with our Haunted Belleville Walking Tour.

· Benefitted from over 1,500 volunteer hours by our Museum Aides

· Entertained over 230 guests at the Fourteenth Fashion Promenade

· Presented the Candlelight House Tour, which was enjoyed by nearly 600 guests.

· Provided real world experience to four emerging historians and museum professionals through our internship program.
