Spotlight Youth Theatre

Spotlight Youth Theatre's mission is to provide youth and their families a safe, welcoming environment where the individual is supported, teamwork is embraced and creativity is encouraged through the high quality performing arts and educational programs which enrich and strengthen our community.

Spotlight Youth Theatre produces nine fully-realized theatrical productions each and every year. Each show features an incredible cast made up of talented young actors and actresses age 6 to 19. In addition, the production and directorial teams for each production feature hard-working and dedicated young people who are excited to learn about the technical side of theatrical production.

In addition to our stage productions, Spotlight Youth Theatre features four performance troupes where young entertainers can learn and perfect life-changing singing, dancing, and solo and group performing skills.

Spotlight Youth Theatre hosts a full summer of educational camps, and features theatre education-focused workshops throughout the year.

Spotlight Youth Theatre is the most recognized and acclaimed youth theatre in Arizona, having been awarded 26 "AriZoni" Awards of Excellence and 66 nominations for the 2017-2018 theatrical season. In addition, National Youth Arts recognized Spotlight Youth Theatre's 2017-2018 season with 70 nominations and 30 awards.
