Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida

NHSSF has over 40 years of serving South Florida as a leader in affordable housing solutions. Headquartered in Miami, NHSSF is a minority-lead and minority-serving CDFI, affordable housing developer, and community organization working to revitalize low-to-moderate income (LMI) communities. NHSSF exists to champion the self-empowerment of South Florida residents through our best-in-class programs and services such as; Homeownership Counseling, Financial Education, and innovative lending products. In addition to these core services, NHSSF works in close partnership with community members, government agencies, and financial service organizations to pilot and implement innovative approaches to enhance the resiliency and stability of historically marginalized communities.

We are a charter member of the NeighborWorks® Network, a certified Homeownership Center, a HUD approved counseling agency, have adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), and a Community Housing Development Organization in City of Miami. We provide services in English, Spanish and Creole.
