Music Will

Donations to Music Will between now and December 31st will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to a generous challenge grant from South Florida's Wildflower Foundation.

Music Will is the largest nonprofit music education provider operating in the U.S. public school system. For more than two decades, Music Will has empowered educators by providing training, creating and donating resources, and facilitating music learning opportunities for students. Our hands-on teaching approach shows students how to play, perform, improvise, and compose using the music that is most meaningful to their specific students. By incorporating genres that students are most excited about (including rock, pop, R&B, Latin, and Hip Hop) young people see themselves represented in their music classrooms and increasingly engage with music-making in school.

Music Will has been serving Miami-Dade County Public Schools since 2014 and currently brings student-centered, culturally responsive music education to over 38,000 students through the efforts of 150 Music Will teachers. We will continue to deepen our impact across Miami-Dade County in the 2024-2025 school year by providing teacher training, donating instruments, distributing curricular materials, and facilitating student performance opportunities. With your help, we can continue to make music education more relevant, accessible, and enjoyable for all students, fostering creativity and confidence in the next generation of musicians.
