LOVE ON A MISSION

Love on a Mission (LOAM) provides a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ youth (middle and high school ages) and their families in Central Ohio. We strive to build a community where everyone feels free to express themselves, be loved for who they are, and form authentic friendships—ultimately thriving as the person they were born to be.

Since 2015, we have been dedicated to creating a safe haven for LGBTQIA+ youth who may not find acceptance elsewhere. Imagine a high school senior bravely coming out to their parents, only to face rejection and homelessness. That’s where we step in. Love on a Mission is more than just a shelter—it’s a beacon of hope, offering community, connection, and unwavering support.

Our commitment goes beyond safety. Through our programs and activities, we focus on nurturing both mental and physical well-being. 

 Our goal?  To ensure there's always a counselor available for group or individual sessions, offering the support and guidance these youth deserve.
