The organization achieves this goal by hosting various events throughout the year, highlighting the uniqueness and diversity of the community. 

The annual Charleston Pride Parade and Festival is a significant event that showcases the community's history and culture. Through education, heritage preservation, cultural advocacy, and celebration, Charleston Pride aims to increase awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.
