The crisis is upon us. Uncertainty surrounding federal funding threatens to dismantle our ability to prevent abuse before it starts. At BLOOM365, we stand at a critical juncture. We see the 'Elephants in the Room' – the unspoken horrors of teen dating abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault – and we know that prevention and response are paramount.

Imagine the impact if BLOOM365’s vital advocacy, counseling, behavioral health intervention and educational programs to cultivate safe relationships and spaces vanish. The voices of young people, bravely reaching out for help, could be silenced.

• 'I saw my dad yelling at my mom again. It's scary. What can I do?'
• 'I feel pressured to send nudes. Everyone else is doing it. Is it really that big of a deal?'
• 'I used to think violence was just physical. Now I realize it can be emotional too.'
• 'Talking about this stuff is hard, but it feels so much better to not keep it bottled up.'

• 'My friend's boyfriend is always putting her down. Is that abuse?'

These are not hypothetical questions; they are the real-life struggles of youth facing the potential destruction of their support system.

BLOOM365 offers a safe space for youth (ages 11-24) of all abilities. But 83% of our funding is from federal sources like the Department of Justice and Centers for Disease Control, now facing drastic cuts. We are determined to continue our mission, but we cannot do it alone. We are urgently seeking community support to bridge the funding gap and ensure the survival of our vital programs for youth who have experienced, witnessed or used interpersonal violence.
