Adelante Healthcare operates nine not-for-profit community health centers providing primary medical and dental care to more than 65,000 people in Maricopa County. Founded in 1979 in the cotton fields and citrus groves of rural Maricopa County, Adelante is an important part of the Valley's health care safety net and serves patients of all economic backgrounds.

Our health centers provide a full range of primary healthcare services, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women's health, dental services, WIC and other suppport services to the under-served and under-insured.

This year's AZ Gives Day efforts are part of our year-long effort to raise funds to create healthy families in the Southwest Valley at the new 45,000 square foot Adelante Goodyear Health Center slated to open in late 2018.

Proceeds will be used to a create a 4D Ultrasound Suite to give expecting parents and their families a once in a lifetime chance to bond with their new little one in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. Unlike 2D scanning which offers plain 2 dimensional images, 4D technology allows family members to see their baby yawning, crying, smiling, or performing different movements and can be used as early as 14 weeks.

Creating that powerful connection between an expectant mother and her unborn child sets the stage for a lifetime of health.
