Young Life Kitsap

Who We Are

Founded in 1941, Young Life believes every young person deserves the care and unconditional support of a well-trained and trusted adult mentor. Young Life is impacting the lives of young people throughout all 50 states and 104 countries around the world.

In Kitsap County, staff and volunteer mentors meet middle school, high school, and college students on campus, and on their turf, to build bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.

We do not wait for young people to come to us. We go straight to them.

West Sound Young Life - Currently we are at South Kitsap High School, North Mason High School, Cedar Heights Middle School, John Sedgwick Middle School, Hawkins Middle School and we have a Young Lives (Teen Moms) program for Discovery Alternative School. We are wanting to launch at Bremerton High School and Olympic College in 2023, but need your support to launch and sustain these locations. 

CKC - Central Kitsap County Young Life - We are a new area/branch. In 2023, we launched our first location at Klahowya Secondary School, for middle schoolers. We currently have a group of 8th graders from the other middle schools gathering together once a month in hopes of launching at Olympic High School and Central Kitsap High School next school year. In order for this area/branch to become sustainable and support growth, we need your help. Spread the word and give today. It will make a significant different. 

BINK - Bainbridge Island & North Kitsap - Currently we are at Bainbridge High School and Middle School. We have a group of middle schoolers from Poulsbo Middle School and Kingston Middle School meeting together. We recently launched a group for North Kitsap High School and Kingston High School, who also meet together. We aim to split these groups, so each school has their own club/program. Your giving will support this growth.
